We condemn hate crimes targeting Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders, which are on the rise particularly around the San Francisco Bay Area, where we are based. While we are encouraged to see the federal government <\/span>take steps<\/span><\/a> to address increased intolerance toward Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, we must be vigilant at the national, state, and local levels to confront the forces that have fostered anti-Asian sentiment, especially since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. Violence, inflammatory rhetoric, xenophobia, racism, and discrimination in all forms is unacceptable.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

ClimateWorks Foundation stands in solidarity with our colleagues and partners from the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities, and reaffirm our <\/span>commitment<\/span><\/a> to doing our part to foster a more inclusive and just society.
