His focus on alternative jet fuel is aimed to increase the global deployment while addressing policy, economic, sustainability and logistics challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Robert serves as a member of the United Nations ICAO Alternative Fuels Task Force and sits on the advisory board of the Carbon War Room and Canada\u2019s Biojet Supply Chain Initiative (CBSCI). Prior to joining IATA Robert was the Principal Economist for Virgin Australia Airlines and co-lead of the renewable jet fuel team.<\/p>\n<p>After obtaining a bachelor\u2019s degree in Commerce and a post graduate diploma in Applied Finance, Robert spent nearly 10 years in banking for both JP Morgan in Australia and Morgan Stanley in London.
